Proud, grateful but just a little bit disappointed!

Thank you to everyone in Lindfield and High Weald who voted for me, 1,393 votes, I’m so proud and grateful! Liberal Democrats were a strong second place and reduced the gap between us and the Conservatives by more than 1,000 votes, bucking the national trend!

Congratulations to LibDems across Mid Sussex, especially Kirsty Lord for Hassocks & Burgess Hill South who increased her majority by an amazing 1,614 votes, and Richard Cherry and Stuart Condie who won their seats in Burgess Hill. Also Stephanie Inglesfield who was so close, short just 118 votes in Haywards Heath Town and Amanda Clarke in East Grinstead who grew her vote by almost 30%. Thank you to volunteer leafleters and phone bankers, campaign teams at HH branch and Mid Sussex, and especially agent Paul Lucraft and campaign manager Peter Cox.
