Fabulous leaflet prepared by Mid Sussex Lib Dems East Grinstead branch going out across and the town and surrounding villages – including West Hoathly, Sharpthorne and Highbrook in the Lindfield and High Weald Division.

Based in the Southern part of my division, in Lindfield, it has been a pleasure and privilege for me to become more acquainted with the villages up in the High Weald, beyond the strolls down the pretty high streets, enjoying village pubs and taking country walks. Like everywhere there are fantastic people working hard but up against a lack of support and services – a priority for me if elected will be to work to save children & family centres and youth centres, in particular East Grinstead – one centre in Haywards Heath to cover all of Mid Sussex is absolutely not enough and not accessible for young families in need of professional and peer support. The combination we have of speeding and heavy traffic through our villages, combined with the painfully slow fixing of potholes and crumbling road edges are accidents waiting to happen and not conducive to encouraging more walking and cycling.

Please vote Lib Dem for a fairer, greener and more caring society, I live in our division and assure you that I will take every decision with the best interest of our precious landscape and people as priority.
